Miercoledi!

I have to say, hiring cute Italian guys to guide us around Florence and speak to us in Italian was a smart decision on Pepperdine's part! I am feeling very inspired to learn the language now :)

We went to the post office today to apply for our permesso di soggiorno (resident permits). My group also went out for gelato and I got my favorite caffe frappe! So good. I found out that one of our guides, Leo, has a vespa! Che fortunado...

This week has been awesome, it literally feels weird speaking English now that we've been learning so much Italian. (Leo would glare at us every time we spoke English while in the city - even to each other!) It is a beautiful language and I ADORE being able to communicate with people in this way. After all, God speaks all languages.
